Finance Administration Assistant (12 month contract)

Reporting directly to the Group Procurement & Facilities Manager, you will co-ordinate the delivery of mail-room services and effective administrative support to the Finance Team as required.

You will provide a high level of customer service to all Head Office Departments.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Opening, sorting and distribution of the morning incoming mail
  • Sorting of outgoing mail
  • Arranging local, interstate and international couriers
  • Responding to email & telephone enquiries
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Finance Team as required
  • Raise cheque requisitions
  • Assist the banking department as required including Bank Account Reconciliation, Deposit Book management and other banking related activities
  • Statement Management and other Accounts Payable activities

Our successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in administration or customer service (highly regarded)
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to be self-motivated and work both autonomously and within a team
  • A positive, enthusiastic and friendly nature
  • A drivers license  - you would be required to collect the weekly mail from Abbotsford
