Our Opportunity
 
We have an opportunity for a QA Administration Assistant to join our very talented Sussan QA team for a 6 month contract role. 
Working with the QA Manager and team, you will support in the administration of fit, quality and ensuring compliance systems are in place. 
Based in our Cremorne head office, you will have a keen eye for detail, strong planning and organisational skills.

You  will play an important role to ensure processing of fit samples and comments, maintaining required fit, workmanship and quality standards and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:
 
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate fit sessions to the seasonal timetable
  • Liaise with fit models agency for fit session bookings
  • Assist in measuring of all fit samples prior to fit sessions
  • Steaming and hanging of fit samples in preparation for fit session
  • Be conversant with minimum workmanship standards
  • Assess additional wash and dry lean test samples received to assess quality performance
  • Approving inspection invoices and reconciling with budget
  • Support with inspections and audits
     
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Fashion or Clothing Manufacture (with garment construction, pattern making and textile technology units)
  • Understanding in garment grading and sizing ideal
  • Garment construction and patternmaking knowledge
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships
  • Team minded with high attention to detail
